BLOG MASTER PROFILE:
Prior to blogging, I was a Superintendent at Ford Motor Company for 36 years. After retiring, I got into Property Management, along with investing in Real Estate. During that time I managed a Mortgage company for approximately 3 years.
I'm still involved in managing property, and started blogging because of my interest in the Internet. TV and the written media give very limited information on just about any subject, and I've been surfing the Internet for years. I visit many blogs daily, and enjoy getting different viewpoints from each blog master.
This particular blog evolved with promoting my son's business, Thomko Petro Chemical. While I started blogging on the petrochemical and oil industry, the blog soon took on other subjects of interest, along with current events.
Later on in 2006, I will add another blog for Northwest Indiana. I currently live right outside Chicago, in Northern Indiana. The new blog will cover Northwest part of the State, as well as the Chicago area.
After starting this blog, my interest in chemicals and petrochemicals led to a new website. We all live with chemicals everyday, thus the website "Living with Chemicals" was born.
While we cannot do without most of the chemical products we use in our everyday life, we need to be aware of any harmful and toxic agents of these chemicals. As the website continues to grow, more useful articles will be added.
